Despite our best efforts, we fell short of our fundraising goal in May. Now, all hope is not lost. We have plenty of time to get back on track, and we have an incredible team of supporters who always step up when it counts. But like Tim says, there’s no shortcut to victory.
We’re approaching our last mid-month deadline of Q2, and we’ve set a goal of raising $60,000 by midnight on June 15th.
These goals aren’t arbitrary -- they’re carefully constructed based on the overall campaign fundraising needs between now and November of 2024.
Back in 2018, Tim’s campaign raised more than $20 million to hold his seat -- and this time around, not only are media outlets calling him a “vulnerable incumbent” to watch, they’re also reminding us that Virginia is very much a battleground state (one with a Republican governor who’s got a massive political war chest!).
So this $60,000 goal means a lot.
The good news is that Tim has a whole army of incredibly dedicated supporters like you -- folks whose donations add up to make a world of difference.
