Our hearts are a-flutter!

A few hours ago, proactive senators delivered an early valentine for wildlife
and people. They took action to direct the Environmental Protection Agency and
other federal agencies to slash harmful, climate-altering carbon pollution—a
huge step forward to protect our air, water, and land.

But your senators were missing.

Please tell your senators to be the moose perfect valentines for wildlife by
supporting the Clean Economy Act of 2020.

[[link removed]]Once passed, legislation introduced today will enable swift action to tackle the
carbon emissions that threaten wildlife species and people like you and me.

By receiving a clear directive from Congress, the Environmental Protection
Agency and other agencies will be required to implement policies to achieve
net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by mid-century. That would mean we can finally start reversing the climate crisis.

Let your senators know your heart will soar when our air and climate are
protected.

Today’s newly introduced bill, the Clean Economy Act of 2020, will put us on a
rapid path to clean air and climate solutions—something everyone can love.

Warming temperatures and shorter winters driven by a changing climate are
threatening moose populations in the northern United States. The changing
climate has sparked skyrocketing tick populations; the ticks leave adults sick
and weakened, and can be deadly for calves.

This new bill will help change the future for moose and help stabilize the
climate that all humans and wildlife depend on!
