Here’s how to get started:
✊🏾 Step 1: Select the place and time of your voter registration activity. You can work with local event organizers at your neighborhood Juneteenth celebration or bring our flyers to a cookout with friends. Whatever you’re doing for Juneteenth — make registering voters a key part of it!
✊🏾 Step 2: Use this page to tell us how you’re participating. Be very specific about where and when you will register voters. Remember to include a Zoom link if your event is virtual!
✊🏾 Step 3: Download our Voter Registration Volunteer Guide. These step-by-step instructions will tell you how to plan a voter registration activity and how to speak with voters!
✊🏾 Step 4: Report back to our team about how it all went. Include your event details and how many voters you registered (even if that number is 0). This step is CRUCIAL and must be completed by every event host. If you are a My School Votes volunteer, use the MSV Report Back Form here.
✊🏾 Step 5: Don’t forget to take photos of your great work! Share on social media using the hashtag #WhenWeAllVote and tag our team @WhenWeAllVote in your post!
