​​ BREAKING NEWS: Democrats win at Supreme Court

​​The Supreme Court just upheld the Voting Rights Act and rejected a gerrymandered map in Alabama that would have diluted Black voters’ power. This is a major win for democracy that could have a wide-reaching impact everywhere. According to Democratic voting rights attorney Marc Elias, this ruling means Georgia could receive a new competitive Congressional district.

The GOP could be forced to redraw the Congressional maps in states like Georgia, which could help us fight GOP gerrymandering and give us another Democratic leaning district.

With such a slim GOP majority in Congress, this district could be the tipping point.
