Youngkin plans to use this cash to flip the Virginia Senate to Republican control, paving the way for GOP policies to sail through the General Assembly next year.
As a former Governor, Tim Kaine knows how critical it is to have strong Democrats in office at the state legislative level. He cares deeply about this November’s elections. He’s endorsed great candidates and is attending events and supporting state Democrats all across Virginia -- and he’s going to keep doing whatever he can in the lead-up to November to make sure Democrats hold onto the Senate and flip the House of Delegates.
But there’s more.
Youngkin’s millions of dollars of cash has the power to not just impact 2023, but the future of Virginia politics, too. Republicans are lining up to try to defeat Tim in 2024, and we know that Glenn Youngkin has the potential to be a strong ally in their attempts.
