Happy Pride Month!

Pride has always been a special time of year for myself and many others. It's a time when we can celebrate our love for one another with our community. But it’s also a time for us to pause and remember those who have fought for LGBTQ+ rights for decades, from the fight for marriage equality to the fight now for trans visibility and safety.

In our current political climate, extremist Republicans have made it a priority to spread hatred and fear against the LGBTQ+ community. There have been over 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills across the country this year ranging from banning drag-shows to prohibiting gender-affirming care for youth.
But as long as I have you by my side, I will continue to fight against the hatred and fear extremist Republicans spread about the LGBTQ+ community and work hard to protect them.
