Thank you to everyone who made Bike to Work Day a huge success. The BikeArlington team enjoyed interacting with all of our bike friends. The event has evolved from people commuting to a celebration for all who use their bicycles to functionally get around Arlington County. Here are some ways you can bike more and drive less.

** Attend the Art Cycle Ride

The Art Cycle Ride will take place on Thursday, July 20, and celebrates reusing old or damaged bike parts to create new art. We are partnering with the Arlington Art Truck, Arlington Public Art, and Arlington Central Library to bring you this artsy ride. Stop by the Central Library to join in.

** Basic Skills Clinic

Learn or refresh your skills on Saturday, June 10 at our Basic Skills Clinic, designed just for you. The class focuses on skills like turning, shifting, braking gradually, and weaving. Come out and develop your bike handling skills needed to ride confidently.

If you see any issues with bus stops, graffiti, litter, parking meters, parks (dog park, facility, field, playground), public art conditions, rental scooters/bike signs (traffic, stop, parking), street lights/park lights, streets (potholes, concrete, gutter), trails maintenance, transportation investigations, trash/recycling, and trees and mowing, report it!
