Dear Friend,

Got plans this summer? For a lot of us, summer offers a breather from
the rush of life. Children are out of school, families head on
vacations, it's time for fun in the sun!

Summer means something different for local families coping with hunger
and homelessness. When their kids no longer get free meals at school,
it forces a tough decision, do I put food on the table or keep a roof
overhead for my family? How you can help

[link removed]

We hear stories of these impossible choices from the families at our
centers. But with VOA, they're couragously changing their course: from
struggles in the sweltering heat of summer, towards a better life.

None of this support - food, shelter, treatment, counseling, housing -
would be possible without you. I'm forever thankful for you, and
your commitment to be the help and hope saving lives this summer!

When mom Jenny and her daughter came to us on the brink of
homelessness, kindness like yours provided family shelter and
emergency relief. Jenny began taking VOA courses on personal finances
and parenting while staying with us, and soon she was on her own
again.

Can you help our local response efforts, especially now as summer sees
dips in supporter donations?

Responding to families like Jenny's relies on immediate resources and
skilled personnel - across hundreds of VOA locations. With your gift
of $25, $50 or even $100 today, you can give so many more families
that same feeling of relief, that same chance to rebuild their lives
for summers to come.

With gratitude for all you do,

Tanisha Smith, Vice President
Volunteers of America

P.S. Every donation makes a difference! And monthly donations go even
further, ensuring we can respond with emergency relief and support
whenever it's needed. Consider joining this specially committed group
of VOA partners today.
