Republican Governor Sununu just announced he will not run for President.
Not only that, but he's openly committed to supporting Donald Trump if he's the nominee, no matter what’s best for the Granite State:
"I'm going to support the Republican nominee, because I can guarantee they're better than any of the Democrats that will likely sit in that presidential seat… I'm going to support the Republican nominee, to be sure."
Sununu left Granite Staters behind long ago in favor of serving his own national political ambitions. He’s been crisscrossing the country for months to dip his toes in presidential water and today he doubled down on his promise to abandon Granite Staters and travel the country in support of other Republican candidates.
While Sununu has been fanning his own political flame from Washington D.C. to Indiana to California and everywhere in between, Joyce has been here in New Hampshire fighting for families and advocating for policies that make Granite Staters lives better.
Rest assured: Granite Staters will always be Joyce's priority. As a citizen, as an elected official, as a candidate, she always has and always will fight for New Hampshire.
