Let’s work together to change this district. We can make renewable energy and sustainability the standard in Houston. We can champion a universal, single payer healthcare system. Together, we can defeat the big lobbyists and take dark and dirty money out of politics.

Come to Our Fundraiser in Richmond!

Join us on Wednesday, June 14 at 6:30 PM in Richmond for a fundraiser hosted by some of our good friends.

Our movement is going strong, and there’s no stopping it any time soon. That being said, it will take everybody’s support to change this district. Come out on June 14 to help grow our campaign and this movement.

This campaign is different. We aren’t taking a cent of lobbyist or special interest dollars. Because of this, we’re free to tell it like it is and we’re guided solely by the voice of the people. Nothing is more important to me than making this district the best place for our children to live. Let’s work together to make it happen.

Do You Have Weekend Plans?

Spend your Saturday with us! On June 17 at 3 PM, come to Katy for a fundraiser hosted by Shakeib Masood, Jemshed Mohammed, and Irfan Jafri.

Democracy only works when we take part. It’s the same thing with a grassroots movement like ours. We all know that so much good can be accomplished, but it will take all of us to make it happen.

The new district deserves new representation. I grew up here. It’s my home and I want nothing more than to see areas like Mission Bend, Gulfton, Alief, and everywhere else in the district flourish. Join us in Katy on June 17 to help be a part of the progress.

It’s a Busy Month!

This movement is a freight train and we’re going full steam ahead. Join us in Richmond on June 27th at 6:30 PM for a fundraiser hosted by Dr. Murtuza Ahmed and his wife Sarah Gowayed.

One of my inspirations Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” That is what this movement and this campaign is about. From universal healthcare and good paying clean energy jobs to the rejection of dirty money from big lobbyists like AIPAC: The new District 07 can be an example in this country. One that reflects the values and ideals of the amazing people who live here. This starts with you and me.
