John,
For almost three decades, the Texas Freedom Network has been on the front lines of some of the hardest-fought policy battles in our state—and for as many special sessions as the governor calls, you can count on us to keep showing up to protect our freedoms.
Going into the regular legislative session, we knew it would be difficult—the deck was stacked against us. For the last 140 days, the far-right extremists running our state have attacked our families, communities, schools, and values.
But their attacks made one thing clear: Extremist lawmakers are terrified of everyday Texans like you and me.

They see how our collective power inspires and mobilizes Texans from across the state and brings them to the Capitol steps. They hear your demands for progressive change. They are shaken by the drumbeat that’s been building for decades as we fight for a Texas where all of us are valued, cared for, and able to truly thrive.
And for these last 140 days, Texas Freedom Network has amplified that drumbeat by organizing and mobilizing our amazing grassroots network of activists to demand a better Texas—activists like you, John.
You called your legislators and testified to fight voucher schemes, protect public education, and preserve genuine religious freedom. You showed up for Advocacy Day and virtual trainings. You rallied for transgender rights and equality for all. You dropped cards on climate justice, reproductive freedom, and immigration. With your continued support, we will keep fighting for our freedoms for ALL the special sessions the governor calls. [[link removed]]
Thank you, John!
I am truly honored to be in this movement with you. No matter what lies ahead, remember—this fight is a marathon, not a sprint. Our communities are worth fighting for. Our future generations are worth fighting for. We are worth fighting for.
With gratitude,
