It’s been FIVE years since my cousin and 16 others were killed by a gunman with an AR-15 in Parkland, Florida.

Since then, HUNDREDS more people have been slaughtered at the hands of assault weapons.

And HUNDREDS more families have been devastated by the loss of their loved ones.

But Congress has still FAILED to ban the assault weapons responsible for this endless bloodshed.


I REFUSE to stand by while Congress prioritizes the gun lobby and assault weapons over our right not to be shot. That’s why I’m organizing a sit-in on the Capitol on June 6th and I hope you’ll join me. But right now, I’m teaming up with BAWN to help them raise $2,924 before midnight to clinch their End of Month goal, fuel their fight for a federal assault weapons ban, and replace complacent lawmakers with champions who have our backs. I’ll be honest. We expect Republican lawmakers to do nothing.

They have shown the country that they are incapable of making logical decisions.

Frankly, the Senate Democrats are not doing their job either.

Currently, we have no champion in the Senate, and Senator Schumer refuses to vote on an Assault Weapons Ban. I will NOT take that for an answer.

I am so TIRED of the bloodshed. I am so TIRED of waking up every day to a new mass shooting.

Legislators that support the deadly proliferation of guns, instead of common sense gun safety measures, are responsible for the carnage of gun violence -- and must be voted out.
