Don't forget to register for Breaking Down Bias: Championing Equitable and Inclusive Classrooms by next Thursday, June 8.

This self-paced online course provides 20 hours of PD credits and is available at no cost to educators, thanks to ADL’s generous supporters. 

The course goes from Thursday, June 15 through Wednesday, July 19 (off the week of July 4th).  It’s delivered in an engaging format, provides a flexible schedule, offers effective strategies and resources to use in your class and connects you with other educators from around the country.  We encourage you to sign up with your colleagues.

By participating in the course, you will: 
 
•  Learn how to build on the four pillars of ADL Education’s anti-bias framework: Explore Identity, Interpret Differences, Challenge Bias and Champion Justice.
•   Reflect on the role identity and language play in perspective, bias, and belonging. 
•   Develop strategies for recognizing and challenging bias in yourself, your classroom and your schools. 
•   Receive a certificate of 20 professional learning hours upon successful completion of course assignments and a course evaluation.
