Friends, 

Today, I am thinking of the many brave service members who have sacrificed everything for our freedoms. Their courage and their dedication to protecting our safety and the sanctity of our democratic values is truly remarkable -- I’m so grateful for all those who have served our country.

I’m also thinking of our military families across America and the world. Their fortitude and the support they offer our service members cannot be underestimated. 

This Memorial Day, I hope you also take a moment to reflect on the solemn meaning of the day.
