Every day, I am reminded of how proud I am of what we've achieved together for our district and state.

From my days working in economic development to serving in the Washington State Capitol and now as your representative in the U.S. House — it has been the honor of a lifetime serving the people of our region.

Just this month alone, we've: launched the Puget Sound Federal Leadership Task Force, alongside Rep. Marilyn Strickland; introduced the Mental Health Improvement Act to address the mental health crisis within our armed forces; and introduced the Yes In My Backyard Act to help to invest in affordable, safe housing.

And what's more, with you by my side, we've made progress by lowering the costs of prescription drugs, rebuilding our infrastructure (and creating tens of millions of jobs in the process!), protecting our natural resources, securing record funding for salmon restoration and Puget Sound recovery, and So. Much. More.

Now, I am more ready than ever to roll up my sleeves as we look ahead to 2024 and prepare to build another winning campaign, powered by grassroots supporters like you, friend. That's why today, I'm reaching out to ask you for a quick favor:

My campaign has set an ambitious $20,000 May end-of-month fundraising goal, and I'm counting on this team for support. Will you consider pitching in $5 or more before our deadline?

Look: I'll be honest and say that the sky won't fall if we don't reach this goal, but every fundraising goal we set does play an important role in the work we do in the months ahead. 2024 is already approaching fast, and the GOP's partisan games in Congress this year are a constant reminder of what's at stake at the ballot box next year.
