A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that Trump's approval rating is at 46%, a full 3% higher than it was when the impeachment trial began.

This is troubling news for Democrats, but what's more troubling is that a Washington Post-ABC News poll found that 56% of Americans approve of Trump's handling of the economy, the highest it's been throughout his presidency. Economic approval is a key indicator of success for presidential re-election, meaning he stands a good chance of winning in November.
