In case you missed it, John.

Colorado is the latest state to pass groundbreaking gun safety legislation — a major victory that proves again that March For Our Lives’ organizing works.

Governor Jared Polis signed four gun safety bills into law that will protect our neighbors and make our communities safer:

✅ Raises the age to purchase a firearm to 21 years old
✅ Strengthens CO's existing Extreme Risk Protection Order law
✅ Establishes a three-day waiting period to buy a gun
✅ Rolls back legal protections for the gun industry

Coloradans have felt the brunt of gun violence for decades, from the Club Q nightclub shooting that killed five people last year, to the Columbine High School massacre in 1999.

Instead of accepting this bloodshed as normal, we fought tooth and nail to demand Colorado lawmakers listen to our voices and act with the urgency these tragedies require.

Our movement is winning at the state level, and we’re just getting started. Thanks to your support, we’re seeing a wave of state legislatures take the lead and push forward on meaningful gun safety measures — despite the intimidation and deep pockets of the gun lobby.

Thanks for fighting to end gun violence day in and day out.

In solidarity,

March For Our Lives
