Hitting our fundraising goals consistently, especially at the start of a
campaign, is important.

At the end of each month, we total our numbers in order to prepare for our
end-of-quarter filings (which will happen next month!). These FEC reports
are public, and every campaign is required to show what they’ve raised.

We know Mitch McConnell and his dark-money PACs will be looking at our
filings to determine the strength of our campaign, so we need to hit every
goal we set.
