Dear John,

On behalf of the Emerge Board of Directors, class members and alum, thank you for your incredible support of our 2023 Las Cruces Reception. We had such a great night celebrating our Southern NM alums and elected leaders. Your presence made a significant impact, and we are so grateful for your contributions.

We were incredibly proud to hear from and celebrate the achievements of all of our Southern NM alums: Senator Carrie Hamblen, Representative Angelica Rubio, Doña Ana County Clerk Amanda López Askin, correction: Las Cruces Public School Board President Teresa Tenorio, Anthony Mayor Diana Murillo-Trujillo, and the all-women city council in Las Cruces–of which four of six are Emerge New Mexico alums–Councilor Becky Corran, Councilor Johana Bencomo, Councilor Tessa Abeyta and Mayor Pro Tem Councilor Kasandra Gandara.

Our ability to achieve outstanding results relies heavily on the generous support of our network. We deeply appreciate your dedication to reshaping the political landscape by recruiting, training, and electing more Democratic women and non-binary leaders. Without your involvement, our work would simply not be possible.

Thank you once again for your generosity, enthusiasm, and commitment to Emerge New Mexico. Your ongoing support is invaluable as we continue to empower women and non-binary leaders and work towards a brighter and more inclusive future.

Sincerely,

Team Emerge New Mexico (Sondra, Amina, Carson, & Alex)
