Last year, anti-abortion extremists tried to advance more than 370 abortion restrictions at the state and local levels.
The National Partnership helped fight back against every single one of them.
Sometimes, we were active on the front lines at rallies, protests and coalition meetings. Other times, we provided expert assistance and technical resources to underfunded allies working in the trenches.
Our collective efforts undoubtedly slowed our opponents but, in the end, a total of 58 abortion restrictions were enacted — including “trigger bans” that ban abortion in the event that the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.
