Dear Friends,

An issue of growing concern is the role of certain Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in facilitating illegal immigration.

These organizations, understanding the benefits of NGO status, have been exploiting the humanitarian banner to incentivize illegal immigration across our borders. They receive taxpayer dollars to house, feed, and transport illegal immigrants across the United States. Their services act as a magnet for illegal immigrants looking to enter our country.

When NGOs enable illegal border crossings, they create avenues that can be exploited by individuals who pose a risk to our security.

This practice undermines the efforts of countless individuals who've gone through the legal process to immigrate into our country.

I will continue to fight to secure our nation.

Holding Mayorkas Accountable:

This week, my colleague Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and I authored a joint letter to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), raising serious concerns about NGOs operating within our borders, which we believe are facilitating illegal border crossings.

This letter, to Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), demands a comprehensive review of all documents, communications, and agreements related to the department's engagement with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) providing food, lodging, and transportation to illegal aliens encountered at the southwest border.

Our goal is simple: ensure transparency, accountability, and above all, protect our national security.

Shedding Light on Left-Wing Media Interference

On Wednesday, I sent a letter to the Pulitzer Prize Board demanding the revocation of the 2018 Pulitzer Prizes for Journalism in National Reporting awarded to the New York Times and the Washington Post.

This letter comes in light of Special Counsel Durham's recent report debunking the claims of "Russian connections" to the Trump campaign these once credible news institutions reported.

I also called for a five-year nomination ban for both publications to uphold Pulitzer's commitment to accurate reporting and accountability.

This is about truth and accountability in journalism. When media institutions propagate unfounded accusations designed to alter the outcome of American elections, they must face consequences. Whatever shred of integrity the Pulitzer Board purports to maintain must be brought to bear against these left-wing media lackeys.

TAKE MY SURVEY

Under the Biden Administration, NGOs receive hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars through federal grants to provide free food, lodging, and transportation for illegal aliens to be released anywhere they want in the United States with no oversight.

Should American taxpayers foot the bill for subsidized illegal immigration through NGOs?

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee are launching an investigation into the Department of Homeland Security’s funding of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that work at the southern border and offer free services, including food and transport, to illegal immigrants -- amid concerns taxpayer dollars are being wasted and misused.

Chairman Jim Jordan, along with Reps. Lance Gooden, R-Texas and Tom McClintock, R-Calif., have written to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas seeking information, communications and documents related to federal funding awards to NGOs for food, lodging and transportation of migrants since Jan 2021.
