Friends —

Here’s something I’m proud of: so far this year, the average contribution made to emails like these for our campaign is $31.

When you think about the amount of money that goes around in politics these days, $31 really isn’t a lot. And of course, many people give less — $5, $10 whatever they can afford at the time.

That’s because this progressive movement isn’t backed by Super PACs and far-right mega donors. We don’t rely on corporate interests like Big Oil, who spent $124,400,000 alone on federal lobbying last year amid record profits

We rely on folks like Jeremy, a service member from Concord, MA who made a $25 donation earlier this week.

We rely on people like Elizabeth, a writer from Stow, MA who added a $5 contribution too.

And we rely on you, friend. We’re building a movement one person and one contribution at a time. Believe us, it adds up quickly when we're all chipping in.

So please,

Make a contribution today — of our average amount of $31 or whatever you can afford — and help make our campaign one that is truly grassroots and people-powered. [[link removed]]
