John, you might be rightly disappointed with Labour’s Budget today.

Labour’s latest big-spending Budget has no plan for our economy and will lead to higher mortgage repayments for families across the country.

It’s clear National is the only party ready to fix our economy and get New Zealand back on track.

Every week I am up and down the country, talking with New Zealanders and hearing the struggles ordinary Kiwi families are facing under Labour’s weak economy.

Labour’s economic mismanagement has led to a cost-of-living crisis that has seen families having to deal with ballooning rents, high mortgage rates and exorbitant food bills.

And yet in today’s budget Labour has gone on a spending spree - blowing its own spending targets to deliver massive deficits and increased debt.

Treasury has confirmed this means interest rates will stay higher for longer, meaning Kiwis will pay the price when they refix their mortgages.

National will fix the economy by restoring discipline to government spending and delivering meaningful tax relief for hard working Kiwis such as building infrastructure to unlock growth.

A strong economy is how we will deal with the cost of living, lift incomes and afford the quality public services Kiwis deserve - like police, healthcare and schools.

New Zealand is the best country on planet earth and Kiwis need National’s strong economic management to get us back on track. <[link removed]))/>

P.S. With less than 150 days until the election, your support is crucial to a National win. Are you able to chip into our election fund?  <[link removed]))>
