Hi John,
Today, we are back in D.C. for a full committee vote on two recent bills that are aimed at reversing the Biden administration’s historic decision to protect the headwaters of the Boundary Waters. This legislation is a blatant and dangerous attack on the Wilderness.
We are committed to ensuring that the Boundary Waters is a forever Wilderness, and we tirelessly advocate in D.C. to protect this boreal Canoe Country permanently . But we can’t do this without Wilderness Defenders like you on our side.

You enable us to continue to show up and fight to permanently protect America’s most visited Wilderness. People fuel the movement every day of the year by taking action to protect the Boundary Waters, reading our emails, contacting their lawmakers, and sharing the importance of protecting the Boundary Waters on social media with their friends and family. You are one of those people - thank you!
But in order to make sure the Boundary Waters is protected forever, we need to grow the movement. It’s up to us to protect the Boundary Waters, and that’s why I’m asking for your help today.
Please take action for this special place today by forwarding this email to two friends who love the outdoors and encourage them to join us in our fight. [[link removed]]
The movement to protect the Boundary Waters is powered by people. We won't lose the Boundary Waters to foreign mining interests if we stand together. Please join me in the fight for clean water by growing the movement to protect the Boundary Waters.

P.S. Did you know that 70% of Minnesotans support a ban on sulfide-ore copper mining in the Boundary Waters watershed? Together, we can protect the Boundary Waters if we stand together and grow the movement. Share this email with two people to encourage them to get involved today. Join today >> [[link removed]]
