In every state where Republicans have gained complete control of the government, we've seen the results: ending a woman's right to choose, repealing gun safety laws, making it harder for people to vote, and banning books and attacking our teachers. After the vote in North Carolina yesterday, Virginia is one of the last Southern states where abortion remains legal.

But that won't be true if the Republicans win the House and Senate this fall. This year is pivotal for the Commonwealth and Republicans are pulling out all of the stops to win majorities. We're facing a tough battle in taking back the House of Delegates and hanging on to control in the Virginia Senate. We can’t allow Republicans to outraise us and take control of the General Assembly in this 2023 election.
