The vote is this Thursday

Hi John,

We just heard that the Joint Finance Committee is getting ready to vote on PFAS – most likely this Thursday, May 18. Thanks to the great insights captured at Conservation Lobby Day, we know that legislators on both sides of the aisle are interested in making progress on the issue. That said, we still don’t know whether Republicans will fully support Gov. Evers’ $106 million proposal to tackle the issue statewide.

With only a few days before this critical vote, legislators need to hear from you. As you know, PFAS have been detected in over 70 communities across the state, impacting the drinking water of more than 2.2 million Wisconsinites. To win on this issue, we need to demonstrate widespread support for action.

Please send an email to your legislators [[link removed]] to show your support for Governor Evers’ $106 million proposal.

Thank you for fighting for our drinking water,
