Yesterday, I forced a resolution on the House floor to require a vote on the expulsion of George Santos from Congress. Republicans have less than 48 hours to go on the record about whether they will choose party politics or accountability of Santos.

There is no doubt in my mind that this has put a target on my back from the far-right. I will be the perfect enemy for Fox News and the MAGA media: A Gay Immigrant not afraid to hold them accountable publicly.

They will rally their MAGA base to attack me, and I have to be ready for them and their mega donors to throw everything they’ve got at me.

I know I can count on you and this team, so I need to ask:

Can you please make a $3 contribution to my reelection campaign for Congress? I need more support than ever to fight back against GOP attacks.

I don’t regret demanding this vote for a second. It was the right thing to do. We cannot continue to let a liar, fraud, and manipulator represent our country and its people.

But now, things are going to get tough for our campaign.

The truth is, I don’t fund my campaign like Republicans with their corporate PAC money — and I don’t want to. Our campaign is funded by grassroots donors giving what they can, when they can, not special interests. And every single donation means I have one more person on this team, backing me and my fight for accountability in Washington.

But that also means I can’t win this fight alone.

So I am personally asking: Can you please contribute to my re-election campaign for Congress? Every single dollar will help me fight back against the GOP and continue to hold Washington accountable to the American people.
