Yesterday, the GOP Senate surrendered its responsibility to hold Trump accountable for the damage he’s done to this country. His lies, corruption, racism, and obstruction of justice will only grow worse because the Republicans are too cowardly to stand up to Trump and his radical base.
Unfortunately, some Democrats seem to be doing the same. According to a poll from Emerson College, 17% of Democrats don’t support removing Trump now, up 9% since the beginning of the Senate trial.
