I have some really bad news: the National Republican Congressional Committee just launched a brand new five-figure attack ad campaign against me. This is an incredibly large ad buy this early in the cycle.

Here is the ad they spending 5 figures to run in my district:

I don’t take a dime or corporate PAC money and we weren’t expecting the NRCC to spend 5 figures against us so early this year, so can you please rush in anything you can to our rapid response fund so we can fight back with a new ads campaign right away?

This is the GOP’s first major negative ad blitz of this cycle and an example of the kinds of attacks we are going to face from now all the way until the election next November.

If we don’t respond quickly enough, these attacks will seep into voters’ minds and we will lose one of the most competitive seats in the country. We have to win my seat if we’re going to take back the Speaker’s gavel from Kevin McCarthy. That’s why Republicans are already attacking me so early this cycle.

Will you please chip in anything you can right now to help me fight back against this new five figure ad blitz and keep this seat blue?
