I want to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all the fellow moms out there, especially to my mom, Pattie. 

My mom always pushes me to be the best version of myself and when I fall short, I know she will be the first one there to support me. Today, she still inspires me to keep fighting for positive change in the House and to be a better mom to my four children. 

My time in Congress has reinforced a valuable lesson I learned from my mom at a young age: Never underestimate the power and strength of moms. Moms are resourceful, selfless, and endlessly compassionate. I am fortunate to work with so many moms in NJ-11 who band together to cultivate a safer and stronger future for our children. 

I hope you all get a chance to enjoy this day with your families. Happy Mother’s Day!
