During National Nurse Week, I’m thinking about all the courageous nurses that have uplifted and provided for our communities. If the COVID-19 pandemic taught us anything, it’s that nurses are often our first line of defense. They deserve to work in safe working conditions.

That’s why I’ve introduced a bill that will improve patients' health as well as improve nursing care. My bill will *

minimum
registered
nurse-to-patient
ratios
in
hospitals.

Provide
whistleblower
protection
for
nurses
who
advocate
for
their
patients.

Invest
in
training
and
career
development
to
keep
hard-working
nurses
in
the
workforce.
