Republicans crafted a perfect storm to protect Trump, allow him to commit more abuses of power ahead of November, and ensure four more years in office:

The GOP voted against calling new witnesses despite many volunteering to appear.

The GOP rushed the impeachment trial while blaming Democrats for not doing due diligence.

Then the GOP acquitted Trump and exonerated him of all wrongdoing.

And now they'll stop talking about it in the hopes that Americans forget that the GOP treated the Constitution like toilet paper.

We're mad as hell about this, and we know you are too. We need every Democrat to get on board and be ready to defeat Trump.

We have less than nine months to counter the lies, threats, bullying, xenophobia, sexism, and racism that Trump will spew -- along with Mitch McConnell's finely tuned voter suppression -- and that means we don't have any time to lose.
