I moved to Washington DC over two years ago and quickly found that Busboys and Poets is one of the coolest places in the city.

Part bookstore, part café, part meeting space – Busboys and Poets is a living testament to the values of its founder, Andy Shallal. His commitment to social justice infuses its entire environment.

I had the privilege of speaking at Busboys and Poets during the last campaign, and I look forward to doing so again next week
