Give now to power monarch recovery!

John,

This week marks the 84th anniversary of our founding. But, there's no time for celebrations because America's wildlife is in crisis.

That’s why we’re launching our 84th Anniversary Wildlife Recovery campaign to help win the fight for struggling wildlife in 2020. Will you help us raise $84,000 before Monday’s deadline to save wildlife this year and every year?

From birds to bees to butterflies, our pollinators are disappearing. Western monarch butterflies have declined by over 99% in recent years. By the most recent count, there are just 29,000 west of the Rockies—and we’re asking you to join with us to help save them.

Please give $30 or whatever you can spare to our 84th Anniversary Wildlife Recovery campaign. Help us meet our goal of $84,000 before Monday to urgently fund programs that will save treasured wildlife like monarchs and restore crucial habitat they depend on.

Once a common sign of summer, monarch populations have plummeted in recent years.

This colorful winged species faces ongoing and increasing threats to its survival, like pesticides, habitat loss, and climate change. Western monarch numbers have continued to drop to terrifying lows. Please help us meet our 84th Anniversary Wildlife Recovery goal of $84,000 before Monday’s deadline to save wildlife like western monarchs.

Friends of wildlife like you can help protect pollinators like monarch butterflies and provide the native habitat essential to their survival and the survival of countless other vulnerable species. Will you help protect our pollinators?

Your gift will support programs that increase the availability of the monarch’s caterpillar host plant—milkweed—as well as important nectar food sources for adult butterflies, and it will help develop and sustain migration corridors so that more monarchs survive their seasonal migrations north and south. Can we count on your support for monarchs?

When you give today, you’ll also help fund community-based efforts like our Garden for Wildlife program to help gardeners create healthy habitats for pollinators in their homes and communities using native plants. Do you want to help plant wildlife-friendly gardens?

And it will enable programs like our Mayors’ Monarch Pledge, which brings together mayors and other local leaders to create urban habitats and educate everyone about the need to save monarchs. Your gift will help fund these programs to save crucial pollinators and more. Please give before our 84th Anniversary Wildlife Recovery campaign’s Monday deadline and help us raise $84,000.

Thank you for all that you do for wildlife.

Sincerely,

David Mizejewski
