It's time for lawmakers to choose Minnesotans, not corporations

Enough is enough. #PeopleOverProfits

Dear John,

I'm writing with an update about an alarm that we've been raising for months: Corporations are pushing hard to protect their profits and their power at the MN Capitol. If we thought it was bad before, the last week has been even worse. Even as we're celebrating (RIGHT NOW, AS I WRITE THIS) the Senate passing Paid Family & Medical Leave, we know that an onslaught of demands from CEOs are working their way through the Capitol.

But we've been fighting for our priorities like respect for workers, paid sick/safe time, clean air and water for decades, we aren't stopping now.

Join us tomorrow (Tuesday, 5/9) at 3pm to rally with Minnesotans fighting back against corporate greed.

We'll be there to support rally speaker TakeAction Minnesota leader, Corinne, who shared her story at last week's Emergency Town Hall. Look for the blue TakeAction Minnesota shirts and say hi!

We are worth fighting for. We demand that lawmakers put our families and communities first.

Onward,
