We knew it was only a matter of time before Republicans opened the floodgates and started spending cash in their target states to win back the Senate. But these ads mean that the onslaught of GOP spending in Virginia has officially begun.

Look, all the warning signs are flashing and pointing to a tough re-election fight for Tim. Experts at Inside Elections are calling Virginia a battleground state, Morning Consult calls Tim a “vulnerable incumbent,” and the GOP is hard at work recruiting candidates to beat him. 

They won’t stop until they’ve regained power in 2024.
