We saw sparks fly at Howard University
In April, NARAL Pro-Choice America, the ACLU, EMILYs List, and Planned Parenthood Action Fund asked our DC members to rally for reproductive freedom with Vice President Kamala Harris. We're captivated by our members and volunteers. The energy at the rally was like a fireworks show, and we're still buzzing! It was enchanting to meet you, Sacramento
65 members joined us for a Lobby Day in Sacramento to meet with 56 legislative offices and hear from NARAL President Mini Timmaraju, NARAL CA Director Shannon Olivieri Hovis, California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, and legislative leaders. Every time we get to take action with our members, we are wonderstruck by the power of this movement–we just can't let it go! This month, we'll mobilize our members to take action around the first anniversary of the SCOTUS leak in May and the decision of Dobbs v. Jackson in June that overturned Roe v. Wade. Be the first to know how to take action by texting NARAL to 59791.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We'll be lifting up AAPI reproductive freedom advocates on our social media (and other places!), so make sure to follow us!
