As we celebrate Independence Day, I want to share an excellent short article by historian Stephen McDowell titled "What Really Happened on July 4th."

Please read it [[link removed]] and share with friends and family. To me, what happened on that day, 243 years ago, is one of the most monumental days in human history outside the events of the Bible.
