I was beyond thrilled to offer my heartfelt endorsement of Lashrecse Aird for State Senate. When we have an incumbent afraid to take on the hard issues, we have to choose a better way forward. Joe Morrissey has proven not to be an ally when it comes to reproductive rights. He is ‘personally opposed’ to abortion, and simply put we cannot afford to have a Democrat in the Senate who’s wishy washy on one of the most important issues facing our Commonwealth.

When asked for comment about my endorsement, Morrissey responded with ‘Who is Levar Stoney?’ What he should be asking is ‘who is Lashrecse Aird?’ Because the answer to that question is the person who is going to win the Democratic Primary next month.

Aird has long proven her steadfast commitment to bringing a brighter future for our Commonwealth. She represents our values, and I want to do everything in my power to get her elected.
