Dear John,

The Emerge New Mexico Class of 2023 went into their second weekend training on April 22nd!

They learned how to be strong advocates for the transgender community, took a deep-dive into the ins and outs of a campaign, and incorporated tools and resources for self-care.

Thank you to T. Michael Trimm, Jennifer Ford, and Pauline Lucero for leading the training sessions. Also, we are grateful to Whitney Holland and AFT New Mexico for hosting us.

We can't wait to continue to celebrate this new class of leaders, and our Southern New Mexico alums at the Las Cruces Reception on Friday, May 19 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM! We hope you can join us - tickets and sponsorships are available here.
