Friends — Happy May Day!

Today is a day to celebrate the working people around the world and stand in solidarity with those who are bravely organizing their workplace, forming unions, and standing up for the rights, protections, and pay that they deserve.

I’m proud that this year, my office became the first Senate office in history to begin unionizing. And I’m proud that throughout my career, I’ve stood up for the rights of working people to organize and have continued to fight for the advancement of working class priorities in Congress.

So I hope you take the time to recommit yourself to our mission today as we push this progressive movement forward.

But before you click away, I wanted to say a quick thank you as well.

Thanks to the wonderful folks who make up this movement, we were able to meet our April fundraising goals with just hours to spare. These goals are not arbitrary — we set these benchmarks so we know what we resources we have on hand to power this movement. And so far we’ve hit every goal we’ve set this year.

So thank you, really. We’ve continued to prove the size and strength of this progressive campaign, and shown the far-right, the special interests, the bosses, and everyone else that we’re ready for the challenges ahead.
