Today is the last day of the month and we want to tell you a little bit of what Rick has been up to this month.

Just last week Rick announced his efforts to help NOAA bring more than $37 million in funding to Northwest Washington. These funds will be used for eight new climate projects and will be a source of new green jobs in our district.

Rick has also been working with community members and local leaders to identify important projects in Northwest Washington. So far these investments include improvements to roads and bridges, water and flood protection, community services, and education.

This is not flashy stuff that wins you stardom on cable news. But it creates jobs right here in our communities. Jobs that support families. And that is what really matters.
