John,
It’s been a tough four months, and with the threat of a special session looming, what keeps me going is watching our network mobilize like never before. Let’s look back at what we’ve accomplished this legislative session thanks to your support [[link removed]] .
🏳️‍⚧️ We showed up for our transgender community: Hundreds of activists packed the open-air rotunda to protest HB 1686, the proposed transgender healthcare ban, and thousands more contacted legislators to oppose it.
🤠 We hosted our most ambitious Advocacy Day yet: 100+ folks from Texas Freedom Network and our Just Texas and Texas Rising programs used our collective power to push for the issues that are most important to us.
🏫 We fought for our public schools: We rallied our base to oppose private school voucher schemes, attacks on students’ religious freedoms, and attempts to censor lessons and libraries.
📚 We protested book ban efforts: We held a powerful Read-In at the Capitol to raise awareness about Republican book censorship bill HB 900.
📱 We expanded advocacy opportunities beyond the Capitol: We organized virtual lobbying sessions around immigration and climate justice so Texans could make their voices heard no matter where they live.
John, we’ve faced this legislative session head-on, but our work is far from done. Extremist politicians will keep attacking our freedoms. As we start the final month of the regular session, will you make an urgently needed donation to help us through the home stretch? [[link removed]]

With your unwavering support, we will continue to be on the front lines for progress—no matter what the coming months may bring.
Yours in the fight for a Texas that’s truly for all,
