Dear John,

Right now, pharmaceutical corporations are taking extreme measures to gut prescription drug affordability. You may have even seen some of their misleading ads in newspapers like the Star Tribune.

We need to stop Big Pharma and their lobbyists from blocking action to lower drug costs to protect their enormous profits. Donate $30 now to ensure the Prescription Drug Affordability Board passes without poison pill amendments this session.

So far, we’ve seen our opponents spend huge sums of money:

📰 Spreading misinformation in local newspaper ads and paid media online.

🎯 Targeting and intimidating legislators in swing districts to oppose the bill.

🦟 And – hiring an army of corporate lobbyists to swarm the Capitol.

Their goal is simple: distract people from the real issue to maintain the status quo and continue to profit off those who depend on medications to live. And since they can no longer block the bill, Big Pharma is doing everything they can to weaken the bill with poison pill amendments that would effectively exclude life-saving drugs from price-gouging protections.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that we win by putting people at the center of this issue. That’s why we’re organizing to cut through the distractions and lift up the stories that matter: our stories.

Help us raise $3,000 by May 9, so we can be louder than corporate lobbyists and let legislators know we won’t wait any longer to pass affordable prescription meds.
