Join us Friday, May 19, to celebrate Bike to Work Day. Commuting to work has really changed over the years with more people working from home. We want to celebrate all the different ways people use their bicycles. Sign up for your local pit stop and join the celebration.

 

Free Bike Safety Check-ups

Before you head out to Bike to Work Day join us on Thursday, May 11 at Trek Ballston. We will offer free bicycle safety checks and it will be a chance for you to sign up and learn more for Bike to Work Day.

Adult Bike Riding Classes are Back 

This June, join one of our spring bike classes: On Saturday, June 10, the Basic Skills Clinic is designed for people who just learned how to ride and people who haven’t ridden a bike in a long time. The Saturday, June 24 Adult Learn to Ride class is designed to teach adults to ride a bike at their own pace with the help of an instructor.

  • Maps and Routes. Ready to explore? Check out our maps and routes to plan your next ride. Learn More. 
  • Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC). Join one of the BAC monthly meetings to learn, to listen, and to engage directly with Arlington County community members and staff. These meetings are designed to inform the public of current concerns and transit projects that directly impact people who use bicycles. Learn More.   
  • Park Tool Repair Tips. That time of the year again. Give your bike the attention it needs. Check out Park Tool repair videos to learn how to maintain your bike. They have videos for beginners and experts. Learn More. 
  • Report A Problem. Arlington County’s Request Service/Report a Problem tool uses crowd sourced data to identify different issues that need to be addressed. Let’s help Arlington County identify these problems. If you see any issues with bus stops, graffiti, litter, parking meters, parks (dog park, facility, field, playground), public art conditions, rental scooters/bike signs (traffic, stop, parking), street lights/park lights, streets (potholes, concrete, gutter), trails maintenance, transportation investigations, trash/recycling, and trees and mowing, report it!
