Mifepristone remains available for now — this is how Tina is making sure it stays that way.

Tina for Oregon

John,

Last week, the Supreme Court ruled that the drug mifepristone could remain available nationwide as a lawsuit challenging its FDA approval works its way through the appeals circuit.

Though it’s reassuring that the drug widely used for abortion care and miscarriage management remains accessible, it’s clear that anti-choice extremists will stop at nothing to restrict access to all forms of abortion. That’s why Tina isn’t taking any chances when it comes to reproductive health care here in Oregon.

Tina announced that the state has secured a three-year supply of mifepristone to safeguard access to the drug in our state. She also committed to protect all providers who prescribe the drug and any patients who arrive from out-of-state to receive care.

Tina has always vowed to protect the right to access abortion care here in Oregon, and now she’s delivering on that promise. You can hear more about all the steps Tina is taking to safeguard reproductive freedom in our state in this interview she did on MSNBC over the weekend:
