Dear John,
Our month-long #LearnToNeverForget campaign culminates with tomorrow's

webinar featuring Holocaust survivor, Mark Schonwetter . Join us at 1pm ET for a conversation you and your students won't soon forget.
Mr. Schonwetter and his family survived by hiding in attics, living off berries and plants in the forests and moving locations at the sight of German machine guns. It's a testament to him that with all he endured, his philosophy of life remains:

“Live every day with love not hatred and you will accomplish so much more in life.”
Mr. Schonwetter has made it his life's mission to tell his story in the hopes that it will generate more respect and kindness in the world.
With the rising levels of antisemitism and hate across the country, giving students the opportunity to hear first-hand from and ask questions of Mr. Schonwetter will have an impact that can last a lifetime.

We know that Holocaust education encourages critical thinking, empathy and reflection. We can't think of a more impactful lesson than listening to and interacting with someone who survived it.
Please share this email with your colleagues, families and communities and, together, we can help ourselves and our students tolearn to never forget.
We look forward to seeing you
