Dear Friend,

First, thank you. Compassion like yours in just the past few days
alone, provided relief and assistance for thousands of people at our
VOA centers and programs across the country.

The reality is we expect thousands more in the coming weeks, and with
the  pressures of inflation on many already struggling to make
ends meet, more families will be seeking us for help.

If you're able, please donate now. Your gift will provide
emergency support and critical services

and give a second chance for neighbors suffering in your community.

You give life to those we serve, Friend! See these examples of lives transformed because of
kindness and generosity like yours:

...Matt, a Navy veteran, couldn't feed his family after
joblessness and mental health struggles. With VOA, he received meals,
housing support, and PTSD counseling, and soon he was employed and
back on track for himself and his family;
...Kate, a new mom courageously left her abusive husband for the
sake of her children and herself. Upon finding VOA, she received
shelter, along with diapers, milk, and other basics. So grateful for
her second chance, Kate now counsels other domestic abuse survivors at
VOA;
...Anna, a low-income senior, had a fall that cascaded into
isolation, financial struggles, and homelessness. With VOA, she found
compassionate, wrap-around support and a welcoming community that let
her age with dignity.

Thank you for being part of this compassion-driven network - people
who don't stand by, but take action knowing that their little
bit of support means the entire world for someone else.

With gratitude,

Tanisha Smith, Vice President
Volunteers of America

P.S. You ARE HOPE for people like those in the examples above - you
change their lives in ways they couldn't have imagined. Your
gift of $25, $50, or $5 or $10, any amount, will help people who are
hurting, and support a better community.
