Folks, isn’t it incredible that in just three months, the House GOP has resolved climate change, ended inflation, fixed healthcare, AND solved all of our most difficult foreign policy issues?

I am, of course, joking. Instead of buckling down to cross just one meaningful thing off their supposed agenda, the House GOP has achieved nothing but cruelty, chaos, and confusion for their first three months in office.

Let’s review a few of their most notable “accomplishments:”

 Took fifteen tries to elect a House Speaker

 Announced dozens of time-wasting retaliatory “investigations” against Democratic leaders

 Screamed insults at President Biden during the State of the Union

 Continued to prioritize gun lobby profits over American lives

 Tried to defund law enforcement agencies to avenge Donald Trump

 Handed over control to the most dangerous and extreme MAGA zealots in Washington

While Republicans flush taxpayer dollars down the toilet to soothe the indicted ex-president’s ego, my fellow Democrats and I have instead been busy finding ways to, you know, actually govern.

But we can’t let this status quo stand for long. The climate crisis, economic inequality, affordable healthcare, and voting rights are all far too critical to leave up to the ill-informed whims of Marjorie Taylor Greene and George Santos.
