John—
We all know the NRA is losing traction among Americans. It’s been dropping members and losing donations for years. But that doesn’t mean it’s powerless—and last weekend’s NRA convention in Indianapolis is proof enough.
Politicians like Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and Ron DeSantis spoke at the convention, promoting its message of weaker gun laws and a more extremist gun culture. Arming teachers, marketing assault rifles to children, and punishing police for enforcing gun laws were among the popular conversation topics.
During the NRA convention weekend, four people were killed and dozens were injured at a birthday party in Dadeville, Alabama. We cannot allow this crisis to continue—make a gift to Giffords Law Center today.
We’ve put the NRA on the ropes, and its influence is waning. Our attorneys have been fighting for commonsense gun safety policies that the overwhelming majority of Americans support, and we continue to challenge gun lobby–backed efforts to weaken gun laws in courts across the country. A loud minority of extremist gun zealots, however, still boosts the NRA’s voice—and its alarming agenda.
We are a country often defined by gun violence and hate, but we don’t have to be. Please donate today so we can put an end to the gun violence epidemic that takes lives every day.

Thank you for your help in this fight. We couldn’t do it without you.
With gratitude,
Adam
